(I don't know if you can even use Sabbath as a verb.) After 14 weeks of blogging every Sunday (and I'm proud of myself for that discipline!) I'm ready to rest a week from the active thinking and questioning, and the lectionary has a great reading for it today. From Isaiah 55:8-13:
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
